Key Points about Hiring at Whimple Victory Hall

​

• On your first booking our caretaker will open up and meet you

• Hirers must clean up after their event, if you don't leave the hall clean and tidy, an additional charge may be incurred

• Tables and chairs are available for use in the hall at no extra charge  

• The hall has licences for the playing of recorded music and showing films

• The hall is not licensed to sell alcohol, if you are going to sell alcohol then you must obtain a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from EDDC

• The playing of ball games is forbidden (except for soft foam balls)​

• You must implement your own safeguarding measures, refer to our safeguarding policy for guidance

• We may ask for a deposit or full payment to secure your booking

• Invoices will be sent by email at the end of the month, payment is due within 30 days

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of an event may be charged at up to 50% of the agreed rate

• The car park is free, but at busy times may be full. Please car share as much as possible or park in the village car park

• You must be at least 21 years old to make a booking.
