Key Points about Hiring at Whimple Victory Hall

Hirers must clean up after their event, an additional charge may be incurred if not done well

The Hall will be opened up for you and you will be met by our Caretaker on your first booking

Tables and chairs are available for use in the hall at no extra charge

The hall has licences for the playing of recorded music and showing films

The hall is not licensed to sell alcohol, if you are going to sell alcohol then you must obtain a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from EDDC

The playing of ball games is forbidden (except for soft foam balls)

We may ask for a deposit in order to secure a booking

Invoices will be sent by email at the end of the month, payment is due within 30 days

Cancellations made within 48 hours of an event may be charged at up to 50% of the agreed rate

Private parties can only be booked by Whimple area residents

The car park is free, but at busy times may be full. Please car share as much as possible or park in the village car park

You must implement your own safeguarding measures, refer to our safeguarding policy for guidance

You must be at least 21 years old to make a booking.
